On June 25, at the invitation of the ABA’s New York White Collar Crime Committee, Frazer joined more than 120 high profile guests for a speech by Benjamin Lawsky, The New York State Superintendent of Financial Services, followed by a panel discussion and cocktails. The event was co-sponsored by the ABA, Duff & Phelps, and CDS.
Among other issues, Frazer engaged Mr. Lawsky in a spirited dialogue about the pros and cons of New York banks being overseen by multiple regulators and whether the current system might prove unduly burdensome, particularly for smaller financial institutions.
