Occasionally one comes across a prank video that literally has it all: a random sleeping guy strapped to a bed (apparently in a small cabin somewhere near Mt. Fuji, Japan), manic commentary by Japanese game show hosts, hundreds of crazily cheering spectators, a series of fireworks that explode INSIDE the cabin to wake the dude up AND THEN . . . a device that suddenly launches this unfortunate individual 150 feet into the air – bed and all. Literally.

Finally, I love the fact that the bloggers who originally posted this over at Neatorama.com provide the following explanation: “That may sound quite implausible, but there was alcohol involved.” Man, I sure hope so!

And to think, I find alarm clocks painful . . . So with no further commentary (not that I could come up with any)
