You heard it here first people: There is only so long that even the most powerful of industries and firms can escape government scrutiny after years of doing NOTHING to protect a constantly worsening reputation (not to mention a total lack of understanding – even among political elites). Whether, the government can prove its case remains to be seen – but as I noted last weekend, this surely won’t be the end. Expect those thumbscrews to keep getting tighter . . .
